Denver, CO— Team FD, the fundraising force of non-profit First Descents is set for a major presence at the ING New York City Marathon on November 6, 2011. With more than 20 runners raising at least $5,000 each, Team FD is set to more than $100,000 for First Descents, a non-profit providing adventure therapy for young adults (ages 18-39) fighting and surviving cancer.

Their hard work is an example of how First Descents has been able to expand exponentially over the last 10 years.”

First Descents Founder Brad Ludden is also running in the NYC Marathon and will follow up with a media tour on Nov. 8th and 9th. NYC-based media interested in meeting with Brad can contact Amy at for an appointment.

Team FD is made up of athletes and cancer survivors at all levels of competition, each sharing the goal of supporting First Descents and the young adult cancer population.
