SylvanSport ‘GO' To Be Featured On NASCAR Angels TV Program

Cedar Mountain, NC – On December 3rd at noon SylvanSport will take part in one man's life-changing moment. Television program NASCAR Angels and the maker of ‘GO' mobile adventure gear (the recently named 2008 Men's Journal Gear of the Year), have teamed up to provide military veteran Darol Kubacz with expanded opportunities for him and his organization, Freedom for Life.

During his time as a soldier at Fort Knox, Kubacz was injured in a motorcycle accident that took away the use of his legs. This year he became the first paraplegic to summit Mount Kilimanjaro, with the aid of a mountain-climbing bicycle. He also founded Freedom for Life, a non–profit agency aiding veterans and others with severe injuries in their quest for adventure with the help of customized all-terrain bikes. Unfortunately, due to the size of his SUV, he can only transport one bike at a time, limiting his ability to share his passion for adventure with as many people as he would like. Through the help of NASCAR Angels and SylvanSport, a makeover of Kubacz's Honda Element and a brand new customized ‘GO' trailer outfitted with a ramp will change all that.

“It is not every day that you hear a story of perseverance like Darol's, so we are glad to be able to help him share his love of outdoor adventure with others,” said Tom Dempsey, Founder and CEO of SylvanSport. “We appreciate NASCAR Angels getting us involved in this tremendously rewarding project.”

Praised widely for its ability to transport gear in a fuel-friendly manner, provide comfortable accommodations without the large expense of an RV, and leave virtually no footprint on the environment when the adventure is over, ‘GO' has quickly become the talk of the outdoor industry.

NASCAR Angels will reveal Darol Kubacz's revamped ride and his customized ‘GO' at noon on December 3rd in Phoenix, AZ. The program is scheduled to air the weekend of February 14th-15th, 2009 on more than 200 network television stations nationwide and on the Hallmark Channel on February 22nd, 2009 at 8 a.m. EST.

The SylvanSport ‘GO' is currently available at select outdoor retailers nationwide and through the SylvanSport.com website. “GO' features a retail price of $8,995. For more information on the ‘GO' and all of the awards that is has won in its first year of existence, visit www.SylvanSport.com.
