Poovey comes from running experience both in personal and professional life. “I always enjoyed playing sports and running while in college, and I was able to rekindle my love of running four years ago when I began working for a specialty running store,” states Poovey. “During my time at the running store I worked as the floor manager and the apparel buyer. I enjoyed helping customers find their passion and fashion for running.”
“We worked with Sara for a long time in our neighborhood running store in North Carolina, and she certainly has a passion for detail and perfection,” comments Tanya Pictor, Balega’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “She was a Balega lover and supporter way before we got to know her well.”
