CARBONDALE, Colo. (May 1, 2017) — rygr, an integrated marketing agency for active lifestyle brands, welcomes Massimo Alpian as account manager. Alpian joined the Colorado-based agency on April 26, contributing to the team working on the KEEN Footwear and Fjällräven accounts, as well as other projects.
“Massimo is a force of nature. He’s well-regarded across the outdoor industry for his ability to build effective partnerships and he brings a fresh approach that will greatly benefit KEEN, Fjällräven and our entire agency,” says Brian Holcombe, principal at rygr. “He’s also a hard-charging skier, runner and cyclist, and has fit in immediately with the team over the all-important lunch hour.”
Prior to joining rygr as an account manager, Alpian most recently worked as marketing coordinator with Dynafit and Salewa North America, where he focused on dealer support and marketing in North America. He previously worked with Eldorado Climbing Walls, as well as REI, where he began his outdoor industry career, cultivating a passion for product.
During an extensive international non-profit career, Alpian focused on human rights and humanitarian work in Latin America and Africa. He holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Columbia University and speaks five languages. He recently relocated to the Roaring Fork Valley from Boulder, Colorado, with his husband, Brett.
