Ryders Eyewear To Sponsor Set Up Events Team

Canadian Eyewear Company Joins Nation’s Largest Triathlon Production Firm For 2008 Season

NORTH VANCOUVER, Canada (February 26, 2008) - Ryders Eyewear has joined Set Up Events as its official eyewear sponsor for the 2008 triathlon season. The sponsorship includes a combination of Web site and event sponsorship elements. Ryders plans on promoting the new sponsorship by showcasing many models, including their performance focused Adrenaline Collection.

“Ryders has quickly established themselves as a leader in the performance/value eyewear market,” said Bill Scott, Set Up Events president. “We are proud to associate the quality and performance of the Ryders brand with ours.”

Ryders Eyewear will have many styles on hand to demo at most Set Up Events throughout the 2008 season. Jim Bertrand is the Ryders Eyewear brand representative for the Carolinas, Georgia and Tennessee, and will assist with the event marketing related to the sponsorship.

“We are very pleased to be teaming up with Set Up Events for the 2008 season considering the quality of the events and the number of athletes Set Up reaches every year,” said Gareth Richards, Ryders national sales manager. “As we all know, triathlon can be a very expensive sport, which is why we strive to offer top-notch, quality eye protection at a wallet-friendly price.”
