Co-op offers many ways for members to experience and enjoy the places they recreate

This spring, REI (Recreational Equipment, Inc.), a national retailer providing quality outdoor gear and clothing, offers its members and outdoor enthusiasts new ways to connect with nature and enhance outdoor experiences through its programs, volunteer opportunities and innovative product offerings.

REI offers a variety of discussions, classes and outings designed to help beginners and experienced outdoor enthusiasts live a life of adventure. This season, REI stores across the nation will offer “bike maintenance” and “backpacking basics,” as well as advanced classes for ongoing skill building. REI has also partnered with select non-profits to promote, plan and host local outdoor stewardship events in and around REI communities. Members and customers are invited to connect and volunteer side-by-side with other like-minded individuals dedicated to restoring and enhancing recreational trails and other outdoor spaces.
