June 12, 2014 – Asheville, NC – Ray Keener, BPSA Executive Director and BRAIN Contributing Editor, teamed up with The Mann Group this week to teach at the Mann University GEAR Super Trainer event held in Fort Collins, Colorado. This two-day event is focused on management training with students from the specialty outdoor, running, cycling and manufacturing industries.

"After 16 years making the Selling Cycling staff training program, I miss the opportunity to help retail improve their customer experience,” says Ray. “When Dan asked me to join him with the GEAR Super Trainer sessions, I jumped at the chance. Every shop here will have better-trained staff and happier customers."

Dan Mann, President of The Mann Group says “Rays collaboration with us on the Mann University curriculum is a true testament to our shared and passionate belief that a correct and consistent approach to customers needs to start at the top and has to be a priority in specialty retail. You can have a beautiful website, perfect location and award winning advertising, but if a customer comes in and has a bad experience, all that investment has been compromised.“
