Retailers Have Chance to Win Trip to Outdoor Retailer Winter Market 2015

#TweetUp2GetOut Campaign to Award Retailer-Backed Charitable Youth Projects with a Total of $6,000 

LATHAM, N.Y. (July 31, 2014) – Reinforcing its commitment to supporting retailer partners, PrimaLoft, Inc. (www.primaloft.com), the world leader in providing comfort solutions with high-performance insulations and fabrics, today unveiled its retailer-focused initiatives taking place at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market (ORSM) 2014.

Throughout all four days of the show, PrimaLoft will host the “ORSM Retailer Giveaway” at its booth (#39043) in which eligible retailers have a chance to win round-trip airfare and four nights’ accommodation to Outdoor Retailer Winter Market in January 2015, as well as PrimaLoft® gear. Retailers can enter the giveaway by visiting the PrimaLoft® booth, allowing a representative to scan his or her badge, and answering a short survey. One winner will be chosen at random during the week of August 11, 2014. At the booth, retailers will also learn more about PrimaLoft’s support capabilities and receive samples of sales tools available to use in stores. 

In addition, PrimaLoft is inviting retailers to visit its sponsored bar at the Outdoor Foundation’s Outsiders Ball event at the Gallivan Center on Tuesday, August 5 from 6pm-10pm MST. There, retailers will be encouraged to participate in the #TweetUp2GetOut campaign by telling a representative about his or her favorite non-profit youth “project,” or organization he or she believes deserves additional funding. PrimaLoft will choose three retailer-backed charitable organizations that encourage youth to enjoy the outdoors to move on to the social media voting phase of the campaign. During this phase, followers of @PrimaLoft on Twitter will be encouraged to vote for their favorite organization using a specified hashtag. PrimaLoft will donate a total of $6,000 to the organizations that receive the most votes. Voting begins on Wednesday, August 6 at 9:00am MST and ends Sunday, August 10 at 5:00pm MST. PrimaLoft is a Platinum Level Sponsor of the Outsiders Ball for a second year.

As part of its revamped marketing strategy which launched in November 2013, PrimaLoft has recommitted to building strong relationships with retailers and in turn their consumers. Along with introducing a revised logo, tagline and imagery, in fall 2014 PrimaLoft plans to launch an online resource for retailers to visit to quickly and efficiently obtain support materials that can be used in stores and for employee training.
