Powertraveller Adds Another Award To Collection

Powertraveller Ltd (distributed in the North America by Outdoor Tactical Enterprises) receive another award to add to their already impressive collection.

Powertraveller Ltd, manufacturer of portable power and solar chargers, have just been announced as a winner of Open Air Life's "Gear of 2012 Awards". It was the waterproof powermonkey extreme that scooped this title and was described as the "go-to back-up battery" by Open Air Life.

With products distributed in North America by Outdoor Tactical Enterprises, Powertraveller Ltd is no stranger to accolade. The products in their range have won two Queen's Award for Enterprise (the highest award a UK company can win) and two OutDoor Industry Awards – one for the powermonkey extreme 5v solar charger and one for the solargorilla solar laptop charger- within the last 3 years. Add to that a prestigious Red Dot Design award for the powermonkey explorer and it's no wonder that so many outdoor professionals are using Powertraveller chargers on their expeditions.

American climber Jordan Romero, the youngest person ever to summit Mt. Everest, along with his father Paul, are both advocates of the brand and have used the products on countless climbs to keep their essential devices charged. In December 2012, it was announced that Sir Ranulph Fiennes would use Powertraveller's powergorilla portable laptop charger on his next expedition The Coldest Journey – a major coup for the UK company.

Powertraveller's award-winning range will be on show at Outdoor Retailer Winter Market 2013, Stand 31011E.
