POULSBO, WASHINGTON (OCT 1, 2018) – Grundéns, producer of the world’s leading foul weather gear, today introduces two new versions of the popular Deck-Boss Boot; Deck-Boss Boot Safety Toe, and Deck-Boss Boot Insulated.

“Our first Deck-Boss Boot has been successful in the commercial-fishing market, and our expanded lineup of high-performance, purpose-buit boots,” says Curtis Graves, Grundéns director of product design. “We built on the features of the original Deck-Boss Boot platform, and through extensive testing and new materials technology have added two new versions designed to perform in the most extreme working environments.”

All three Deck-Boss models use Grundéns proprietary SRC rated Herkules Grip™ outsole (the highest level of slip resistance testing on the market) for superior traction in all environments. Built to be tough and durable, all Deck-Boss Boots are made with an injection molded 15-inch upper that eliminates delamination and cracking. The flexible upper folds down when the full height is not needed, and a 1-inch groove holds a durable silicone band that keeps legs dry. Made with premium synthetic rubber, all Grundéns Deck-Boss Boots are proudly manufactured in the Pacific Northwest.

“We listen to fishermen and use their input to help direct the products we build,” says Mat Jackson, Grundéns CMO. “These two new Deck-Boss Boot models reinforce our commitment to commercial fishermen, and to building the best gear possible to keep them at the top of their game while on deck.”
