STOWE, Vermont (September 20, 2010)--Poppy Gall Design Studio, a full service design studio (http://www.PoppyGall.com) specializing in creating diverse styles for active outdoor brands, now brings their expertise to cycling apparel. Recent projects include apparel design for Dude Girl (http://www.dudegirl.com), cycling socks for Darn Tough Vermont (http://www.darntough.com) and custom jersey graphics for Girls Move Mountains/Dirt Divas (http://www.girlsmovemountains.org/home.html).

Poppy Gall, owner and Creative Director of Poppy Gall Design Studio is no newcomer to cycling or to design. Before co-founding ISIS, a women-only outdoor apparel brand, she was a competitive U.S.C.F. cyclist.

“As a long time cyclist, I've been dreaming about designing cycling apparel, but I've always been pulled professionally in other directions,” says Gall. “As a designer of cycling apparel, I bring a lot to the table. I spend a lot of time in the saddle in all types of conditions so I'm aware of what technical fabrics and features work for cycling.”

Of working with Dude Girl on the new “Giddy Up” jersey and the “Poppy” jerseys being debuted at Interbike, Gall claims, “ I was able to incorporate my technical apparel design experience with my love for developing colorful custom prints.”

Additionally, look for Gall's fun designs and color influence in the new performance cycling socks being offered by Darn Tough Vermont, slated to ship in January.

Poppy Gall Design Studio works with a talented pool of designers, illustrators and photographers to offer a diversity of styles to potential clients in the outdoor, snowsports and lifestyle apparel business.

The Design Studio offers the following services: outerwear and sportswear apparel design, knitwear design, color palette development, design of prints and graphics, mood boards, trim design and product development and management.
