(Lawrence, Mass.) – Polartec®, the leading worldwide manufacturer of performance fabrics, announces its support of the 2010 Audi Birds of Prey World Cup at Beaver Creek, December 3-5. In its first year sponsoring the international ski race, Polartec is part of the official World Cup volunteer uniform, which includes a custom hat featuring Polartec Wind Pro® fabric with Hardface technology.

The Audi Birds of Prey event features an international roster of premier men’s skiers for three days of competition including Downhill, Super G and Giant Slalom races.Racers to watch include past champions Aksel Lund Svindal from Norway, Didier Cuche from Switzerland and Americans Bode Miller and Ted Ligety.
