Paul Rolnick Joins Outside Magazine As Retail Sales and Partnership Director

Paul Rolnick has joined Outside's staff as Retail Sales and Partnership Director. Rolnick will oversee retail sales operations for Outside’s monthly and special issues, as well as Outside’s partnership subscription promotion efforts.

Santa Fe, NM, February 22, 2006 - Outside magazine announces that Paul Rolnick has joined its staff as Retail Sales and Partnership Director. Rolnick will oversee retail sales operations for Outside's monthly and special issues, as well as Outside's partnership subscription promotion efforts. Rolnick will be based in the New York office, and will report to Outside's Consumer Marketing Director, Jim Motrinec.

"Paul brings with him over twenty years of publishing industry experience," said Motrinec. "His extensive knowledge and comprehensive background in circulation, sales, and marketing will be an incredible asset to our team."

Most recently, Rolnick served as Circulation Director for Emap Metro, where he was in charge of retail sales, agency, and new business subscription operations for FHM. Previously, he served as Circulation Director at Wizard Entertainment, managing consumer marketing and sales activities for entertainment publications and ancillary products. Prior to that, he was the Circulation Director for Spin magazine, and has also worked for Wenner Media, Ziff Davis, and General Media.

Rolnick was chosen to judge the 2005 Circulation Management Magazine's Circulation Excellence Awards. He is a member of the Fulfillment Management Association, as well as the Periodical and Book Association. Rolnick received his B.A. from the University of California at Santa Cruz, graduating with honors. In his free time, Rolnick is involved in local service projects and enjoys playing tennis, running marathons, and skiing.
