VENTURA, Calif. (June 21, 2013) — Patagonia Inc., a leading designer of core outdoor, surf and sport-related apparel, equipment, footwear and accessories, formally announces today the newest members of its trail running ambassador team – Jeff Browning and Luke Nelson.

Jeff Browning, a self-proclaimed "gear geek," resides in Bend, OR. Browning's recent major accomplishments include a first place finish in the 2013 and 2012 San Diego 100 Mile Endurance Race, a first place finish in the 2012 Wasatch Front 100 Mile Endurance Race and a first place finish in the 2010 Cascade Crest 100 Mile Endurance Race.
"I came to Patagonia for it's environmental ethos, business philosophy and top-of-the-line gear," notes Jeff Browning, "I am an environmentally-conscious person. Luke Nelson is a five-time winner and course record holder of the El Vaquero Loco 50K, in addition to holding the fastest know time of a car-to-summit-to-car of Idaho's tallest mountain, Borah Peak.
