Osprey Packs, an independent pack company located in the high desert and mountains of Southwestern Colorado, announces the hiring of Sarah Harper Burke as the company’s new Program Pack & Pro Purchase Manager.
Burke holds a Masters degree in Sports Management & Marketing from the University of Tennessee. Most recently, she was the Kayak Operations Manager for the U.S. National Whitewater Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Additionally, she served as the Rafting Manager at Zoar Outdoor in New England and the Instruction Sales Manager at the Nantahala Outdoor Center.
“Sarah’s experience in retail, training, guiding, and program leadership will be a great asset to both areas of our sales effort,” said John Pieper, Osprey’ Sales Director. “Osprey is committed to developing the best gear carrying equipment for outdoor education programs and Sarah is the perfect person to work with these groups and understand their unique needs. We’re fortunate to have an experienced and creative leader like Sarah join us in SW Colorado.” Burke’s employment is effective immediately.
