Cortez, CO - January 8, 2014 – Osprey Packs, Inc. is expanding its Kode series of industry-leading backcountry ski packs for Fall/Winter 2014 with two innovative additions: the KodeABS®Compatible Series and Kode Race.

Drawing on design from Osprey’s endurance focused Rev Series, the Kode Race 18 allows uphill/downhill racers to move and transition quickly. Featuring an innovative and easy to use system, Kode Race offers diagonal ski carry and removal without removing the pack. This saves time and effort when the terrain requires boot packing.
Osprey’s BioStrech™ Wrap Harness provides a wide conforming shoulder harness that wraps the ribcage for a comfortable and secure fit during active and dynamic use. The adjustable and removable dual chest straps provide a variety of positions giving the ability to adjust for maximum stability and lung expansion.
