Osprey Packs, Inc., an independent pack company located in the high desert and mountains of Southwestern Colorado, is proud to announce that the Circuit daypack is among the recipients of Outside magazine's 2007 Green Gear of the Year award in the annual Buyer's Guide.

The Circuit is part of the ReSource Series, a collection of next generation daypacks and courier bags designed with urban styling for Osprey's active eco-conscious consumer. Made from a minimum of 70% recycled material by content, key components of the ReSource Series include:

•100% recycled PET main body fabric
•100% recycled PET binding tape
•60% recycled spacer mesh
•Recycled buckles – reground from buckle scrap
•100% recycled PET webbing
•100% recycled PET mesh pockets

PET is the acronym for Polyethylene terephthalate, a thermoplastic polyester resin. Recycled PET is made from ground up water and soda bottles. The introduction of recycled PET as a pack cloth provided a key component to the ReSource Series.

The largest daypack in the series, at 1900 cubic-inches, the Circuit features a zippered top entry access to a dedicated laptop sleeve with file organization and an internal music pouch with wire ports. Add to that a recycled PET stretch woven front pocket, zippered side pockets with internal mesh gusset panel, large front pocket with organizer, front zippered slash pocket, a padded bottom to keep contents protected, a recycled removable web waiststrap and recycled rolled spacer mesh harness for added support.
