Origin Outside is thrilled to announce that our documentary film Call Me Crazy: The Legend of Mike Wiegele, has been honoured with Vimeo's Best Actions Sports Film of the Year Award.

Call Me Crazy tells the story of helicopter skiing visionary Mike Wiegele, whose boundary-breaking approach ushered in a whole new era of big mountain powder skiing, and changed the sport forever. “With so many incredible films to choose from, it’s an amazing honour that Vimeo chose Call Me Crazy,” says Andrea Wing, Origin’s Video and Content Director, who worked tirelessly with her team to shoot, direct, produce, and edit the film. “And I’m especially stoked that a story about an 80-year-old powder-skiing legend took the prize. Mike Wiegele is an inspiration, and has truly changed the way people think about skiing.”
