Bozeman, MT--Oboz footwear will get a boost of warmth next winter when the company launches its new collection of insulated boots. Five styles for men and women will ship to retailers for the fall/winter 2016-17 season.
Oboz chose 200 grams 3M™ Thinsulate™ for cold weather comfort, and a winter-specific rubber helps improve traction on snow and ice. Other common features include winter-ready rubber to help improve traction on snow and ice, Oboz' BDry waterproof/breathable membrane and high quality leather and textile uppers.
The fit of these winter boots was a design priority; Oboz gives them a generous toe box, a snug midfoot and heel and supportive upper materials. Inside, Oboz’ new BFit Thermal insole supports the arches, and helps retain warmth through the use of wool and heat-reflecting mylar.
For men, the Big Sky Insulated BDry is a perfect companion for every day wintry tasks like shoveling out the car. The pull-on boot is made of rugged, oiled full-grain leather with molded rubber heel and toe cap. The men’s Bridger 8" Insulated BDry boot is ready for winter adventures with or without snowshoes, with full-lacing, deep-lugged outsole, gaiter-compatibility and even a heel kick to help nudge the boots off at the end of the day.
Women also get a taller, winterized Bridger boot—the Bridger 7" Insulated BDry—with faux fur lining around the collar. For every day wear and style points, too, the Madison Insulated BDry has a waterproof textile and Nubuck upper, decorative strap and faux fur, with easy, side zip entry. Finally, the Moonlight Insulated BDry pull on boot is fur-trimmed, too, with two-toned waterproof Nubuck leather.
Oboz will show off its insulated line at Outdoor Retailer Winter Market from January 7-10, 2016 in Booth BR403 in the Salt Palace Ballroom.
