Oboz™ Footwear—the True to the Trail® outdoor footwear company located in Bozeman, Montana—has always placed its highest priority on service to the specialty retailers that have helped build the brand since it launched in 2007. Oboz recently added two new team members to manage the fast-paced customer service operation—Iain Massucci and Kate Geraets. Additionally, veteran Oboz customer service rep Elizabeth Sinclair now leads the team.
Elizabeth Sinclair, who joined Oboz in 2013, has been promoted to Customer Service Supervisor. She hails from Knoxville, Tennessee originally and is a graduate of the University of Tennessee. She loves hiking, canoeing, fly fishing, cooking and yoga. Her travels have taken her to spots around the world, but her dream destination is New Zealand for its fishing and hiking.
Iain Massucci brings professional boot-fitting experience to his new job with Oboz. From 2009 to 2016, he worked for the Yellowstone Club Outfitters, a private retail operation in Big Sky, Montana, where he supervised rental and boot fitting, and additionally managed staffing, accounting and purchasing. Massucci has been a guide, a wrangler, and a ski patroller, all requiring frontline communications and customer service skills. The Vermonter earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont, with a major in Community and International Development.
Kate Geraets is a Minnesotan who migrated to Montana in 2014. Armed with a liberal arts degree in Urban Studies from the University of Minnesota, her diverse work experience has always focused on providing exceptional service. She’s been a program assistant at Montana State University, a sales representative for a seafood company in Seward, Alaska, and a remote ‘best friend forever’ rep for photography gear shop Photojojo.com. Geraets believes that concise and clear communications and teamwork plays an important role in successful customer outcomes. In her spare time she enjoys photography and watercolors, as well as hiking, fishing and skiing.
“Oboz is experiencing tremendous growth,” said Tim Tripp, CFO of Oboz. “Elizabeth, Iain and Kate all have the experience, skills and enthusiasm to uphold our commitment to responsive and first-rate service to our community of consumers and retailers.”
Since 2007, Oboz™ has created ‘True to the Trail’ outdoor footwear, inspired by the vast 18 million acre Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem surrounding the company’s Bozeman, Montana home. It’s a wilderness ripe for exploration and inspires Oboz to build shoes and boots that deliver unmatched fit, unrivaled feel and exceptional performance on any trail, anywhere. Oboz plants a tree for every pair of shoes it sells with Trees for the Future, an international aid organization that improve the lives and environment of communities in Sub Saharan Africa through beneficial tree planting.
