DENVER, COLORADO- Outdoor Retailer and Colorado Office of Outdoor Recreation announce the Backcountry Film Festival Night of Stoke at Outdoor Retailer + Snow Show, Saturday, January 27th at the BELLCO Theater. Doors open at 6:30 pm, event program begins at 7:00 pm. All proceeds benefit Winter Wildlands Alliance, preserving the human-powered recreation experience on public lands.

Night of Stoke: Revolution and Evolution, a night of social innovation of the outdoor industry. This year, the outdoor industry moved from Utah to spark discussion and action for the protection of Bears Ears National Monument and preservation of the backbone of the outdoor industry, our federal public lands. Outdoor Retailer and its partners are holding this event to keep the momentum of outdoor recreationists moving forward to tackle issues such as public lands preservation and climate change. “We are happy to open the doors of this event and invite the public to join the celebration and become part the growing influence of outdoor voices in helping protect the places we love to ski, climb, bike, paddle and hike,” said Jennifer Holcomb, Marketing Director of Outdoor Retailer.

Guests will watch an exclusive lineup of films and learn from featured professional athletes how to turn passion into action. Presenters include:

The Backcountry Film Festival is produced by Winter Wildlands Alliance as a celebration of the human-powered experience and as a gathering place for the backcountry snowsports community. Winter Wildlands Alliance is a national nonprofit organization that works to inspire and educate the backcountry community to protect and care for their winter landscapes.
