Newell Brands Technical Apparel Announces New Sales Leader Marmot and Exofficio Brands

Rohnert Park (CA): Newell Brands Technical Apparel (NBTA), a division of Newell Brands (NYSE: NWL), a globally-recognized designer, developer, marketer and retailer of high-performance technical apparel and equipment with a portfolio of brands that includes Marmot® and ExOfficio®, is pleased to announce Deanna Fleming as the new Head of Global Sales and Business Development. Fleming, who joined the company in August, 2017, will lead the Sales organization going forward overseeing all North American sales and International Distribution (not including Europe). In her new position, Fleming will report directly to Joe Flannery, Senior Vice President and General Manager of NBTA.

Fleming’s rich and diverse background is well suited for this new position. She comes to NBTA from Harmless Harvest where, as VP of Marketing and Sales, she managed the expansive growth of this organic food and beverage business. Prior to that role she held leadership positions with Big Heart Pet brands, the makers of iconic household brands like Milk-Bone and specialty brands like Natural Balance.

Fleming is excited for the opportunities that lay ahead. “I’m looking forward to developing best in class business plans jointly with our customers designed to meet our consumer needs”, Fleming states, “as well as enabling this very talented team to drive portfolio growth.”

Originally hailing from Canada, Fleming now resides with her husband in San Francisco. She is an avid traveler and athlete and takes advantage of all that Northern California has to offer. She can be found hiking, running, snowboarding, boating, and hitting her local CrossFit gym.
