{Nashua, NH} – NEMO Equipment, Inc., manufacturer of AirSupported™ and Extreme Conditions Tents, sleeping pads and backcountry accessories, has expanded its international distribution to Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxemburg, and Norway.

“NEMO has seen strong growth in the US and international markets. We've continued to double our sales year over year for the past four years and international sales have been a strong part of that growth. We chose to enter Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxemburg, and Norway based on interest and the strength of the industry in those markets,” says John Faherty, Director of Sales. “We've met with many distributors and have chosen an excellent group that will compliment NEMO's offerings and help us build a strong presence in these regions.”

“Triple X has specialized in climbing products since 1999. Recently, we began searching for new lines that are connected with the climbing and mountaineering markets. When I saw NEMO and its products, the first thing I thought was, ‘this company is so innovative and fresh, this is what we need to sell,'” says Stefan Donner, owner and founder of Triple X Outdoorsports.

In Canada, Gilles Lapierre has also been retained to continue to grow NEMO's Eastern Canadian territory. The new distributors add to NEMO's existing channels in the UK, Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, and India. For more information on NEMO's international sales, please contact John Faherty at 603-493-2974 or john@nemoequipment.com.

NEMO expanded its product line in 2010 from 12 to 20 tents, along with 4 sleeping pads, a backcountry pillow and accessories. 2011 will offer even more innovative products, including an Air Permeable Reflective Insulation™ for its Extreme Conditions Tents, along with Arctic shelters. NEMO was founded in 2002 by Cam Brensinger with the commitment to bringing the highest level of design and engineering to the world of outdoor adventure sports. Besides AirSupported Technology®, NEMO has patents pending for its lightweight pumps, washable floor liners, condensation curtains and many more features and accessories which add functionality and comfort to its shelters. NEMO tents can be found at local, national and international retailers, including Lauche & Maas München GmbH, Atmosphere, Eastern Mountain Sports, and REI.
