VANCOUVER, WA -- May 10, 2007 -- Pure fitness company Nautilus, Inc. (NYSE: NLS) has today announced an exclusive partnership with track and field legend Michael Johnson in conjunction with the opening of his new facility next month.

Nautilus will become the official strength and conditioning equipment provider to the Michael Johnson Performance Center (MJPC) -- the state-of-the-art facility created to provide sports performance training to amateur and professional athletes. The partnership includes educational support and installation of the latest Nautilus equipment and training support at Johnson's new facility at Craig Ranch located in the Dallas suburb of McKinney.

"This facility will be a premier athletic performance center and a living laboratory for Nautilus," said Gregg Hammann, Chairman and CEO of Nautilus, Inc. "We view our involvement as an extension of our research and development activities, where we can further develop innovative fitness training products and educational programs with feedback from youth to elite professional athletes."

"Michael has approached his business with the same passion that led him to five Olympic gold medals and nine world titles. We expect the Michael Johnson Performance Center to become one of the world's most highly regarded training facilities. Athletes and teams training there will experience a cutting-edge performance training process that is based on scientific feedback and the physical objectives of the individual," said Hammann.

Youth and elite/professional athletes are expected to train year-round at the facility -- part of the Craig Ranch sports complex that also includes the Tournament Players Club (TPC) Craig Ranch and Cooper Aerobics Center. Clients will enjoy a lengthy list of amenities such as an indoor track, 24,000 square feet of performance training space, a physical therapy center, along with 13 soccer and 14 baseball/softball fields.

"Our belief is that every athlete can increase their level of performance through smart and effective training programs regardless of age or athletic experience," said Michael Johnson. "We will train high school, college, and professional athletes only after assessing the physical capabilities and sport-specific demands of each client. Performance equipment from Nautilus will allow us to train the next generation of world-class athletes using the most natural and comfortable movements available."

Athletes training at MJPC will receive progressive and systematic training that improves speed, strength, stamina, and agility for nearly 20 team and individual sports. Dedication of MJPC is planned for June 9.
