MSR® HyperFlow™ Microfilter Point-of-Sale Display Wins Award

The MSR HyperFlow microfilter point-of-purchase display has won a silver medal in the “Design of the Times” competition for excellence in meeting the specific challenges in the “Recreational Store Counter Display” category.

Seattle, U.S.A. – Cascade Designs, Inc., the Seattle-based industry leader in the design and manufacture of premier outdoor equipment, has won a silver medal for its MSR HyperFlow microfilter point-of-purchase display in the “Design of the Times” competition at the November In-Store Marketing Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada. The display has been chosen for excellence in meeting the specific challenges in the “Recreational Store Counter Display” category including effectiveness, size, security and ease-of-use.

The annual competition is sponsored by the In-Store Marketing Institute and draws several hundred entries in 16 categories and 16 display types. A jury of over 100 leading brand marketing and retail experts evaluate displays on a wide variety of criteria including creativity in design and engineering, innovative use of materials, compatibility of design within the retail channel, and ability to enhance brand image and sales.

The MSR HyperFlow microfilter countertop display, developed by Concept Designs, Inc., is built on a solid steel base and frame featuring two graphic layers—a curved 4-color printed lifestyle photo, and a top layer with product information. The product itself rests on a wire cradle and is tethered with a retractable security cable, yet can be easily lifted by the customer to feel its weight. Measuring at 11”H x 9”D x 8”W, the display is ready-to-go out of the box and can be used on countertop, slat-wall or grid-wall.

"We're honored to be recognized for providing a merchandising solution that supports sell-through for our retailers without demanding too much time from staff on the sales floor,” said Carol Blayden, Director of Marketing at Cascade Designs. “It's a testament to the work we do to understand our customer and their need to touch, experience and gather information about a technical product like this one before making a purchase decision.”

The displays are currently being used throughout the world by retail stores carrying the MSR HyperFlow microfilter. Retailers interested in receiving a display for their store should contact their local Cascade Designs sales representative.
