Mountainsmith has taken their tent and sleeping bag line another step further for 2013 with the addition of the Mountain Shelter LT and the Loveland 30° Doublewide sleeping bag. The two-person lightweight, three season, full featured, backcountry tarp shelter sets up fast with two trekking poles. The two-person sleeping bag is designed for family car camping, fishing/hunting camps, sleeping in the back of an SUV or any other place where weight is not an issue. The popular and award-winning line-up of bags and tents excel in their performance with specifications and features unexpected in their price category. Whether for extended backpacking or family camping, Mountainsmith has the products to provide both carrying and sleeping comfort to any outdoor adventure.

Inspired by an earlier Mountainsmith design, the lightweight two-person Mountain Shelter LT offers three-season protection from the elements with its 40d sil-nylon body. It features a zippered single door, rear ventilation window, reflective guylines with tensionlock cord adjustment (also allowing for non-pole setup), guyout attachment points and reinforced V-stakes. A stuffsack is part of the package. MSRP: $130

The Loveland 30 Doublewide is a rectangular shaped bag with full zippers (left and right on the Loveland) that allows for quilt style use. It features two-way autolock YKK® zippers with anti-snag reinforcement. External hang loops are convenient for drying or pad lashing and stuff sacks are provided for storage. It fits two people up to 6'4” with a dimension of 80” x 60.” The Loveland 30 Doublewide offers 60/40 insulation (60% on top/40% on bottom), a center adjustable buckle that creates two individual hoods, and a cotton storage sack. It utilizes a 75dx240T Ripstop outer fabric, Taffeta polyester lining and MountainLoft™ Hollowfibers.
