Pure play hunting company joins grassroots organization

In a move that supports the long and rich tradition that hunters and fishermen have played in the conservation of America's natural resources and environments MOTHERâ„¢, a manufacture of specialty hunting and fishing packs, has joined The Conservation Alliance.

MOTHER's™ founder Marty Grabijas, an avid outdoorsman, stated that, “Outdoor enthusiasts all want the same thing – to be able to enjoy their pastime and to insure that their children and childrens' children can do the same. We choose to join The Conservation Alliance based on their low overhead, strong volunteer leadership and that fact that 100% of the organization's budget goes directly to permanently preserving wild places. While we are a small company, we allocate a whatever possible to support the protection of the places that we recreate – whether we are toting a double gun, a fly rod or a rack full of climbing gear.”.

“We applaud MOTHER™ for recognizing the importance of conservation to the sportsman community,” said John Sterling, Executive Director of The Conservation Alliance. “The conservation movement was founded by hunters and anglers, and MOTHER™ is carrying on in that tradition. We hope other companies in that sector will join our efforts to protect wild places.”

MOTHER's™ founder, Marty Grabijas, discovered over 30 years ago that hunting vests are pretty much useless for their intended purpose. As early as the 1960's folks like Dick Kelty and Wayne Gregory had figured out how to carry a load in the field, yet hunters have suffered through same tired stuff / different year. MOTHER™ – as in Necessity is the MOTHER™ of Invention – was born out of personal frustration and now provides technical, performance based equipment to hunters throughout North America.
