(May 9, 2008 â€” Carbondale, CO) Montrail's Run Like A Girl Series kicked off May 4th in Richmond, Virginia. Over 500 people came out to the race with competitors ranging from ages seven to seventy. Montrail, a proud supporter and the first Visionary Sponsor of the HERA Women's Cancer Foundation, has donated over $21,000 raised from the event series.
Paul Curran, Montrail's Marketing Manager says, "the event was a huge success. We are honored and excited to support the HERA Foundation, and look forward to three more of these great trail running events."
In addition to the original $20,000 donation, Montrail raised over $1,000 from shirt sales at the event.
