Seattle, WA - Moldy Chum has teamed up with startup apparel company Upstream Journey to launch its long-awaited online store. A fusion of art and environmentally responsible apparel, the store features a collection of conservation-minded shirts and hats inspired by some of the most talented artists in fly fishing.
For the last eleven years, the Chum has captured the soul of fly fishing in our content, and now we’re translating that spirit into a line of apparel. We’ve come a long way since we launched our first shirt “Eat Moldy Chum: Crap Thunder” back in 2007. We’re still the same irreverent minds, but we now have a full slate of conservation partners and artist friends guiding our design.
From day one, the Chum has been dedicated to fighting for fish, and we wanted that ethos reflected in our apparel. That’s why we are donating 10% of the price of every product to conservation organizations and campaigns working on the frontlines to protect fish. And that’s why we are committed to using environmentally responsible materials such as organic cotton, recycled polyester, and phthalate-free dyes.
We are proud to be partnering with Upstream Journey, a new outdoor apparel brand that is a collaborative creation of dedicated conservationists, avid outdoorsmen/women, and world-class artists working to celebrate and conserve our irreplaceable outdoor resources. With their help, the Chum store offers apparel you'll love wearing while fishing your secret spot or telling fish tales at your local watering hole.
After churning out content for more than a decade, we are excited to embark on this new adventure with Upstream Journey. Stay tuned as we continue to release even more designs in the coming weeks. And please check out our store at www.upstreamjourney.com.
