January 10, 2007. Laurel, Maryland -- InterAction Laboratories, a leader in physically active interface technology, today announced that the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development has committed to an investment in the Company from the Department's Maryland Venture Fund through its Challenge Investment Program. The Company is not disclosing the terms and size of the investment.

“Our investment in technology companies like InterAction Laboratories is one reason that Maryland has become a model for other states working to create and develop their technology sectors,” said Aris Melissaratos, Secretary of Business and Economic Development. “By nurturing and supporting these young entrepreneurial companies, particularly those in the virtual reality and simulation industry, we are ensuring that Maryland's technology sector continues to grow and provide jobs in our State.”

“InterAction Labs is making the ‘digital world' a physically active place. This investment will help us accelerate adoption of our technology in a variety of markets, including military training, arcade-based video gaming, and rehabilitation,” said Greg Merril, CEO of Interaction Labs. “The Maryland Venture Fund has an impressive track record picking leading technology companies. InterAction Labs is proud to be selected to join this elite group.”

“We were successful as an early investor in Mr. Merril's first venture, Immersion Medical (NASDQ: IMMR),” said Raymar Dizon, Managing Director of the Maryland Venture Fund. “We believe this latest venture is a very compelling investment. Physical interactivity with digital content is a promising area, InterAction Labs has innovative technology with applications in several large markets. We are very excited to add InterAction Labs to our portfolio”

About InterAction Labs:
Powergrid Fitness, Inc. (d/b/a InterAction Laboratories) has a growing portfolio of intellectual property related to physical interaction with computers. Founded in 2002, the Company's technology is now integrated in products serving diverse markets -- from toys to military training. The Company's award-winning ISOCOR technology allows users to physically interact with video games and computer simulations by engaging their entire body instead of just their hands. Unlike the Nintendo Wii or Konami's Dance Dance Revolution, both of which require special software titles and work by measuring user movement, ISOCOR relies on body strength and works with virtually all games. The experience is immersive, precise, and more fun than traditional control methods, all while burning calories and promoting good health.

The Company's products based on this technology have been named the 2005 and 2006 CES Electronic Gaming Innovation of the Year and was also recognized by Readers Digest as the Top 100 of 2006. Interaction Labs' strategy is to build market presence through licensing, distribution partners, or where risk/reward merits enter markets directly. The Company is headquartered in Laurel, Maryland, USA. www.interaction-labs.com
