LOWA to Host Demo Tent at Mount Washington Valley Ice Festival

LOWA invites Mount Washington Valley Ice Festival participants to visit the LOWA tent and check out their world-class, German mountaineering boots including the Mountain Expert, Ice Comp IP and Silberhorn models.

Located in North Conway, New Hampshire, Mount Washington Valley has plenty of ice terrain where ice climbers from across the U.S. and Canada will congregate February 3-5, 2012 for the annual Mount Washington Valley Ice Festival, sponsored by LOWA retailer, International Mountain Equipment. Amid the fun-filled atmosphere, festival participants are invited to the LOWA tent to visit, check out and demo their world-class German mountaineering boots including the Mountain Expert GTX, Ice Comp IP GTX and Vertical GTX models.
The boot tent team will be led by LOWA representatives, Brian Hamann and Christian McConnell. Participating consumers will be able to take advantage of the opportunity to try before they buy. The Ice Festival organizers will be giving away prizes that include gift certificates towards LOWA boots.
The Mountain Washington Valley Ice Festival is the premier ice climbing and winter mountaineering event on the East Coast and one of the longest-running ice climbing festivals in the world. Events include competitions, various beginning to advanced climbing clinics, and the opportunity to check out and try the latest gear while catching up with some of the world's most experienced climbers.
