Leisure Trends Group® is adding thoroughbred-caliber horsepower to its Customer Relationship Management and Hospitality division with the addition of Bob Vermeulen as General Manager for Sales and Marketing of the division and Lila Turner, Database Account Specialist.

Leisure Trends Group has quietly offered CRM solutions to its clients for the past two years with excellent results for companies as varied as Retail Concepts Inc. and Outrigger Hotels and Resorts. The addition of Vermeulen and Turner signals Leisure Trends' intent to turbo-charge the department and become as well–known and well-regarded in CRM as it already is in consumer research and retail tracking, according to Leisure Trends founder and president Jim Spring.

Hailing most recently from American Skiing Company, where he was Senior Manager for Database Marketing and Analysis for ASC's portfolio of seven world-class resorts, Vermeulen has also worked in CRM for such companies as ICG Communications, MCI Telecommunications and US West Small Business Group.

“My experience in CRM, my experience at the resorts, and my statistical and analytical background gives me the credibility necessary to gain the customer's trust and be confident in their choice of Leisure Trends as the company that manages their most important asset, their customers,” Vermeulen said.

Vermeulen replaces John Siewerski who left to start his own consulting company. Turner joins Vermeulen as the newest additions to the Leisure Trends staff. Turner comes to Leisure Trends from DoubleClick's Abacus headquarters, where she served as Senior Product Manager for one of the nation's largest digital advertising and database services companies.

According to Spring, Vermeulen and Turner will assure the success of Leisure Trends' new Single Solution approach to making its clients more profitable which includes such services as database development, warehousing and management, research and analytical tools, online research, 24/7 access to real-time customer feedback, as well as training and consulting services.
