Leisure Trends Group announced today the launch of regional data reporting as part of its industry-leading RetailTRAK retail sales tracking services. In conjunction with this launch, Leisure Trends also unveiled TRAKview™, an extraordinary, new, dynamic reporting platform to deliver this information.

BOULDER, CO - Leisure Trends Group announced today the launch of regional data reporting as part of its industry-leading RetailTRAK retail sales tracking services. In conjunction with this launch, Leisure Trends also unveiled TRAKview™, an extraordinary, new, dynamic reporting platform to deliver this information.

Tracking sales regionally is particularly important for the sports and recreational industries as sales are affected by variances in climate and economic conditions in the different parts of the country. "The addition of the regional breakouts makes sales tracking information exponentially more valuable," said David Ingemie, President of Snowsport Industries America, one of the first users of the new system. "It allows manufacturers and retailers to analyze and forecast their business to a level never before possible. Our users are thrilled with both the new data and the reporting interface."

The rollout of the new system from Leisure Trends started with the Snowsports industry and will continue with the Outdoor and Running RetailTRAKs in early 2010. As part of this transition, the speed of data delivery is also being increased. Data will be received through secure channels, aggregated, cleaned, matched, projected and then released to all clients and partners within 25 days of month's end.

The new system represents the next generation of retail sales tracking information and tools that Leisure Trends has been providing for over 20 years. "The launch of our regional data and TRAKview reporting interface is part of our ongoing commitment to provide our clients and partners with the most actionable, easy to use retail sales tracking information in the industry," said Jason Gee, Director of Retail Tracking at Leisure Trends Group.

The TRAKview interface features an easy to use graphical and tabular dashboard with manyoptions for analyzing and filtering the data.

"We're very excited about the capabilities and functionality of our new system," said Gee. "It's one-stop shopping for users with category, class, brand and model data all in one, easy to use interface. With the regional data added in, we have a very powerful business analysis tool that is unmatched in the industry."
