Portland, OR—June 6, 2016 — LED LENSER USA, an innovative brand creating LED lights for the dedicated, is pleased to announce it has signed on to continue its support of the Hood to Coast Relay as a Bronze level sponsor. The 35th Annual Hood to Coast Relay takes place this year August 26-27th, with participants running and walking from Mount Hood to the Pacific Coast through light and dark and varying temperatures.

Aligning core values, LED LENSER will provide monetary support as well as in-kind donations including headlamps for VIP teams and flashlights for law enforcement along the race route.

“We are excited to renew our partnership with Hood to Coast. Ensuring runners and walkers are safe and seen during the night legs is a privilege,” said Shannon Jidas, Associate Brand Manager at LED LENSER.

The NEO headlamp is a perfect lightweight headlamp at 1.9 ounces for every runner and walker. It has an ultra-wide 150˚ beam so participants can see more of what’s in front of them, and contains a rear blinking light for additional safety and visibility.

The Providence Hood To Coast Relay is the most popular relay race in the world with over 1,050 teams participating in three events: the 35th annual Providence Hood To Coast Relay, the 65th annual Providence Portland To Coast Walk Relay, and the 19th annual Portland To Coast High School Challenge.
