PINCKNEY, Mich.— Joshua Tree Skin Care (JTree), maker of organic and natural products designed to support an active outdoor lifestyle, is celebrating its 10-year anniversary August 4 – 7, 2011 at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City. JTree will host a series of special events at its booth #31005E, including the chance to be a part of JTree’s 10 Years of Healing Hands collage.
Thursday through Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m., JTree invites show attendees to pour a jar of salve at its Healing Hands Happy Hour. Guests will take home a jar of the brand’s famous Healing Salve, its cornerstone product. Since Healing Salve was first introduced in 2001, JTree’s line has grown to include a collection of lip balms and face sticks such as Sun Stick with SPF 33 that was recently featured in the New York Times.
Daily during show hours, attendees are invited to visit the booth and have their hands photographed to become a part of the 10 Years of Healing Hands collage. “This is our way of celebrating the people and the unique lifestyle that have helped to build our brand,” says David Lawrence, JTree’s president and CEO. “The collage will grow and take shape during the show and we’re also collecting images from our online community so that everyone can participate.”
On Friday from 3 to 5 p.m., JTree will host an autograph signing with pro climber Alex Johnson. At 5 p.m. there will be a special anniversary toast that will include giveaways and a special award. “We’re going to honor the person who can show us the gnarliest set of hands,” says Lawrence. “The competition should be pretty fierce, though we suspect that an avid Indian Creek or Yosemite crack climber to take home the honor.”
JTree initially kicked off its 10-year anniversary celebration on Earth Day, Friday, April 22, 2011. The JTree brand launched with its cornerstone product, JTree Healing Salve, in 2001. In 2008, JTree expanded its line of lip balms by introducing Desert Shimmers, a collection of tinted lip balms, as well as introducing Winter Stick with SPF 15, its first sunscreen product developed for faces. Due to the popularity of the freeze-resistant Winter Stick, the following year JTree added Sun Stick with SPF 33 to its product line.
The slim fit tube designs of JTree lip balms are ideal for logo placement and the delivery of special event or brand messages. To learn more about JTree’s private label program or its products, please visitwww.jtreelife.com.
