Liverpool, England (January 29, 2014) – There’s more than one way to carve a turn, but finding the sweetspot and tuning your balance is the easiest and most efficient way to get the most out of every turn. SkiA can help you do just that.

The SkiA Sweetspot Ski Trainer is a dry-land training device developed by Dr. Martin Breach - a medical doctor with an interest and experience in sports medicine and biomechanics, and Hugh Monney, an ISTD Level 4 trainer, founder and Director of the British Alpine Ski School (BASS).

Drawing on backgrounds in ski racing and instruction, biomechanics and injury diagnosis and treatment, they created a device that could easily help skiers develop the critical skills of balance and coordination, which in turn would allow the user to ski more proficiently and efficiently, as well as helping reduce injury.

Where is the Sweetspot of the foot? The Sweetspot is not - as many skiers believe - under the toes, the ball of the foot, or the heel. In fact, it's directly beneath the center of your foot.

Ski boots and skis are designed to be centered in relation to each other and the body, so that when pressure is applied at precisely the center point your skis will work perfectly. Applying pressure to the center of the foot allows it to be perfectly relaxed and balanced, flat in the boot, and not engaging extra muscles, which enables your muscles to stay fresher, longer.

The smallest, lightest ski trainer in the world, the SkiA Sweetspot Trainer easily fits in a small pack and is uniquely effective for skiers of all abilities, from absolute beginners to racers, freestylers and other expert skiers.

SkiA Sweetspot Trainer:
• Smallest, lightest ski trainer in the world
• Effective for skiers of all abilities from absolute beginners to racers, freestylers and other expert skiers
• Fits every size of adult ski boot
• Weighs only 7 oz each, easily fits in a small pack
• Quickly straps onto ski boots
• MSRP $69.95
