REDMOND, Wash. (July 29, 2008) – Industrial Revolution was recently named one of the top 100 companies to work for in Washington, by Washington CEO Magazine. The honor was bestowed to the top-ranking companies as assessed by a comprehensive survey distributed to over 400 businesses throughout the state.

“We are extremely proud of this honor, and to be included with such a distinguished cadre of businesses,” said Keith Jackson, president of Industrial Revolution. “While we're passionate about our products, we know that it is our employees who make this company successful. Knowing that their opinions resulted in the nomination gives me a deep sense of gratification. There is no greater sense of achievement than when your employees are satisfied.”

The survey was administered to both employees and management of eligible companies. The criteria on the survey covered: communication, training and education, responsibility and decision-making, performance standards, rewards and recognition, benefits, leadership, work environment, hiring and retention, corporate culture, and overall assessments of the company.

Industrial Revolution manufactures UCO and PedCo Products, in addition to managing U.S. distribution for Light My Fire, Grilliput and SwissSpice. In late 2007, the company was listed as one of the fastest-growing, privately-held companies in Washington.

The list of “Washington's 100 Best Companies to Work For 2008” will appear in this month's issue of Washington CEO Magazine.
