Steamboat Springs, CO (January 11, 2011) - Iconic Adventures, an outdoor adventure company that designs and executes active trips for companies and organizations, has opened for business and will be attending the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market trade show January 18th through the 22nd. Bringing passion and 30 combined years of experience into every Iconic event, president Joe Solomon and his team pride themselves on knowing what the client needs and how to deliver a memorable travel experience for each and every participant.

“We believe that great things rise out of outdoor adventure,” said Iconic Adventures president Joe Solomon. “Providing memorable travel experiences for the participants is our passion, but planning and delivering promotional opportunities for the sponsor is our business.”

Iconic Adventures is different than a typical tour operator. It's an outdoor adventure company that specializes in active trips for outdoor-oriented businesses that want to increase market awareness, launch new products, or bring attention to a cause. From mountain biking trips to backcountry skiing adventures, Iconic Adventures provides the expert guides, equipment and logistical support for customized events that are in line with a client's brand and product guidelines.

An example of what Iconic does best is SmartWool's annual Ride to Outdoor Retailer. Solomon's inspiration for Iconic Adventures was born out of the years he spent executing trips for Backroads, a direct-to-consumer active travel company based in the San Francisco Bay area. He has always been passionate about the outdoor industry and understands the needs of outdoor companies that consistently work to promote their brands and products. Iconic Adventures provides an authentic way for outdoor companies to introduce new ideas and products to the outdoor market and to key market influencers.
