MerinoLOFT™, Cool-Lite and Woven Merino Provide Next Level Natural Fabric Innovation & Natural Fabric Blends

Icebreaker, the original merino wool outdoor apparel brand, pushes the boundaries of fabric innovation, design and functionality for its Spring/Summer 2016 collection with new technology, styles and color ways. This season celebrates macro and micro adventures – encounters both extreme and intimate – to cater to outdoor enthusiasts who value the experiences that make life rich. The Spring/Summer collection helps wearers live more of these moments by empowering activity and enhancing the experience of being in nature, wearing nature.

“Icebreaker merino is a premium product from a renewable resource, and this season we’re pushing the limits on this incredible fiber that just wouldn’t have been possible even a few years ago, particularly with the creation of our natural fiber blends,” says Mark Koppes, Icebreaker VP of Product. “The Spring/Summer 2016 collection will excite Icebreaker enthusiasts and encourage more people to discover the comfort and performance benefits of the world’s best merino for hike, travel, performance, sport and yoga.”

And Icebreaker Cool-Lite™ fabric – which combines the benefits of premium merino wool and sustainably produced wood – debuts in summer tops and performance sports apparel.

Icebreaker is also expanding its popular collection of woven merino layers for travel and the outdoors, launching stunning nature-inspired prints from Icebreaker guest artists.
