High Peak USA Expands “Alpinizmo” Collection With New Ski Packs

High Peak USA, provider of high quality camping, hiking and outdoor gear is announcing two new backpacks to their popular Alpinizmo line with the Rapid 40 and Rapid 35 Ski packs. The packs are designed for snow sport enthusiasts and ideal for year round trekking and paddling. The new Alpinizmo Rapid line will be available in Fall 2012.

High Peak USA's Alpinizmo Rapid 40:
Ideally created for snow sports, year round trekking and paddling, the Rapid 40 ski pack has a versatile compartmental system that features a bottom and top section and two pass through compression straps designed to hold trekking poles or ice axe straps that attach to either side of the front pocket. For long treks and ski touring the Rapid 40 is designed with a strong lightweight aluminum “Y” stay system designed to carry loads without putting extra weight on the user's back. All buckles used in the Alpinizmo series are hollow and high-grade, zippers are YKK and all systems are hydration ready. Available Fall 2012. Weight: 4 lb. 2 oz. MSRP: $150.00

High Peak USA's Alpinizmo Rapid 35:
Similar to High Peak's Rapid 40, the Rapid 35 backpack is a lighter version ideally designed for versatile lightweight ski and snow sports, 4 season trekking and paddling. The Rapid 35 weighs in at 3 lbs. 2 oz. and is made of high performance nylon. The “vario” adjustment system will fit a wide range of users. Skis or trekking poles can be held in place with heavy duty reinforced web straps at the bottom of the pack and double locking compression straps at the top. The Rapid 35 also has the aluminum “Y” stay system designed to carry loads without putting extra weight on the user's back. All buckles used in the Alpinizmo series are hollow and high-grade, zippers are YKK and all systems are hydration ready. Available Fall 2012. Weight: 3 lb. 2 oz. MSRP: $140.00
