(Fairfield, Calif. – December 30th, 2013) – Just in time for the New Year, Harbinger is donating over 7,000 pairs of weightlifting gloves to active US troops around the world through a partnership with Operation Care Package. The retail value of the company’s sizable donation exceeds $200,000.
A favorite among military service members, Harbinger weightlifting gloves are sold on base, in many exchange stores around the world. The company's popular FlexFit and Pro gloves are two of the glove styles being donated to troops. "We're very proud to support our troops in their efforts to stay fit while serving our country," says Chanin Cook, Harbinger's Director of Marketing, "We know the holidays are particularly hard to spend away from home, and hope Harbinger gloves bring smiles to the fitness enthusiasts amongst our soldiers in the new year."
