GSI Outdoors Welcomes The Horton Company As New Sales Agency

The Horton Company has joined GSI Outdoors as the new sales agency for the company’s Mid-South territory, including Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, and Nebraska.

Spokane, Washington - April 10, 2008 - The Horton Company has joined GSI Outdoors as the new sales agency for the company's Mid-South territory, including Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, and Nebraska. The announcement was made by Rich Weight, sales director for GSI Outdoors, a leading supplier of outdoor cookware and dining products. The Horton Company is headed up by Jerry and Lois Horton.

The Horton's are outdoor sales veterans. Along with GSI Outdoors, they represent Chaco, Bridgedale Socks, McNett and Snow Peak. Their goal is to actively maintain existing dealer relationships while taking advantage of a territory rich in outdoor activities in order to build the GSI Outdoors brand. They will focus on providing targeted product assortments that fit the needs of their market.

GSI Outdoors is in the business of making cookware and dining products that adapt the comforts of home to active outdoor lifestyles at the campsite, base camp and anywhere in between.
