GSI Outdoors Nesting Wine Glass Named as One of Top Ten Best Gifts for Adventurers

Spokane, Washington – December 3, 2015 - GSI Outdoors’ Glacier Stainless Nesting Wine Glass has been named as one of the Top 10 winners of the Best Gift for Adventurers category in 10Best Readers' Choice travel award contest, sponsored by USA TODAY. Made of rugged stainless steel, the Glacier Stainless Nesting Wine Glass features a proprietary patented stem and base design that allows the stem to be unscrewed from the wine glass and compactly snapped into the bowl for storage.

Nominees were chosen by a panel of relevant experts, which included a combination of editors from USA TODAY; editors from 10Best.com; expert contributors; and sources for both these media and other Gannett properties. All voting was digital and the 10Best Readers’ Choice Award contest was accessible on the 10Best.com website.

While the 10Best Readers’ Choice Award contest lives on 10Best.com - a standalone travel media site - it is promoted across USA TODAY Travel Media Group’s digital and mobile products, as well as via social media. Nominees are also announced and/or promoted across relevant USA TODAY departments, and through Gannett media outlets, including the websites of its 81 local newspapers and 43 television stations.

10Best.com provides users with original, unbiased, and experiential travel content of top attractions, things to see and do, and restaurants for top destinations in the U.S. and around the world. The core of the site's uniqueness is its team of local travel experts: a well-traveled and well-educated group who are not only experts in their fields - and their cities - but discriminating in their tastes.

GSI Outdoors is in the business of making cookware and dining products that adapt the comforts of home to active outdoor lifestyles at the campsite, base camp and anywhere in between. In 2001, GSI Outdoors started distributing outdoor related gifts under the name of Outside Inside. What began as a small distribution company selling blue enamel tableware has expanded into the design, manufacturing, sales and marketing of an innovative array of outdoor cookware and a whole range of eating and drinking products that are technical, innovative and fun.
