SACRAMENTO, Calif. – As it transitions its headquarters from southern California to Sacramento, Gregory Mountain Products, the outdoor industry market leader for three decades in backpacks for the full range of outdoor activities, hired a new controller, materials manager and international/domestic customer service representative.

As Gregory's new controller, Jason Dunlap brings financial and technical skills cultivated at a variety of public companies and venture-backed start-ups, including Oracle, Lucent Technologies/Ascend Communications, Forte Software, Fort Point Partners and Ernst & Young. He holds a degree in finance and accounting from the University of California at Berkeley and is a Certified Public Accountant. A competitive cyclist with the Specialized Sierra Nevada race team, Dunlap enjoys a variety of outdoor activities and has competed in and completed an Ironman Triathalon.

Lewis Wessels brings 18 years of materials management experience to his new role as Gregory's materials manager. Experienced in all aspects of lean-manufacturing philosophy and application, Wessels also holds a business degree and enjoys hiking in the Sierra Nevadas in his spare time.

With 10 years of experience in customer service, Kristen Oliver was hired as international/domestic customer service representative for Gregory. Oliver is a University of California Davis graduate with an emphasis on international and business relations.

As Gregory transitions to its new downtown Sacramento office, it continues to recruit for several open positions, including a product development specialist, manufacturing engineer, customer service manager, and several openings in accounting. Born in San Diego in 1977 and located in Temecula, Calif., since 1983, Gregory will bring with it to Sacramento roughly two-thirds of its existing employees. All employees were offered the opportunity to move with the company, and open positions are the result of employees who decided to remain in Southern California. Gregory will complete its transition to Sacramento in March.
