AGOURA HILLS, Calif. (Dec. 14, 2007) – Gramicci apparel, the original outdoor lifestyle apparel brand, is relentless in its pursuit of the best possible quality product that has the least environmental footprint.

To date, 38% of the Gramicci business is now being done under the label of GREENICCI a segment of the Gramicci product line that is made of 100% organic or recycled materials. A remarkable, 80% of Gramicci's packaging and hang tags are made of Green Seal certified FSC Recycled, chlorine free, papers printed in soy ink.

The Gramicci Habitat
The offices are 100% recycled, lit by low energy florescent bulbs and heated and or air conditioned at set levels to reduce energy use and subsequent green house gas emissions. All business reports have been converted from paper to computer and wall projection for all meetings reducing the paper usage bin in 2006 by 70%. As well, the company encourages car pooling, bus riding and bike riding to reduce carbon emissions.
