Specialty outdoor, lifestyle, travel and camping manufacturer Grand Trunk announced today that it has redesigned its web site, www.grandtrunkgoods.com, formerly www.thetravelhammock.com, offering both wholesale clients and consumers a streamlined shopping experience. In addition to an overall more user-friendly interface, features of the newly enhanced site include searchable product descriptions, account registration, and Grand Trunk Rewards, the Company's new shopping rewards program.

“Our new site makes it easier than ever to shop Grand Trunk,” said Jon Neff, Vice President of Sales. “No matter where the road takes them, consumers will now be able to easily search and shop Grand Trunk's full line of outdoor travel equipment and accessories, search for local dealers, create a login to save account information and earn rewards toward future purchases, register to receive email updates, read the Grand Trunk blog, and even interact with us on Facebook and Twitter.”

Each product section features visually-compelling imagery, detailed product descriptions, user-generated reviews and setup instructions (where applicable). Consumers can upload their favorite Grand Trunk product pages to a variety of social networking sites or share via email, instant messaging or text. The “Where to Buy” section features an interactive U.S. map that lists local Grand Trunk dealers state-by-state.

Frequent shoppers can also use the web site to register to be a Grand Trunk Rewards member. Grand Trunk will keep a tally of net purchases and offer members credit towards their next purchase as they reach the program's spending milestones.

At checkout, shoppers who spend at least $20 may opt for Grand Trunk to donate up to five percent of its proceeds from the purchase to the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics (www.lnt.org). Leave No Trace is an educational, nonprofit organization dedicated to the responsible enjoyment and active stewardship of the outdoors by all people, worldwide. Best understood as an educational and ethical program rather than a set of rules and regulations, Leave No Trace's efforts are designed to assist outdoor enthusiasts with their decisions about how to reduce their impacts when they hike, camp, picnic, snowshoe, run, bike, hunt, paddle, ride horses, fish, ski or climb. Their initiatives are supported in part by donations from partners such as Grand Trunk. The more a customer buys on its site, the more Grand Trunk will be able to donate to Leave No Trace.

“Our groundbreaking charity partnerships empower Grand Trunk customers to lend their support to organizations like Leave No Trace that are doing amazing work, simply by shopping with us,” said Neff. “Giving back is a core belief of Grand Trunk, so we're proud that every purchase our customers make offers us an opportunity to make a difference.”

Visit the newly redesigned www.grandtrunkgoods.com for more information about Grand Trunk's charitable partnerships and to shop its full line of outdoor equipment and accessories, including camping and beach gear.
