Accell Group anticipates realizing an increase of the net profits from regular business operations over the entire fiscal year 2007 from 25% to a maximum of 35%. The results will be announced during the presentation of the annual figures on February 29, 2008 in Amsterdam.

For the Accell Group, this means that the good results of the organization for 2006 were realized in 2007 as well, and will even be exceeded (net profits 2006: € 18.4 million; anticipated additional net profits 2007: at least 25%). The Dutch company has strong brands at its disposal among which continuous product development and innovation are central in their marketing and operating strategy. Within the
Netherlands and abroad, the top-line brands landed significant prizes and distinctions in the area of design and innovation.

Within the Accell Group, 3 important product groups ensured the results of the company:
1) Bicycles (about 72%)
2) Parts and accessories (about 17%)
3) Fitness (about 11%)

Much money has been invested by Accell Fitness during the past year in the Research & Development department, in new administrative and software systems and in additional optimization of the logistics to be able to meet the growth of the company. Also during 2007, the entire new production location for the high-end Tunturi products in Tallin, Estonia, was placed into operation. Various assembly lines and all the
necessary testing facilities are situated at this location. This was an important step for the Tunturi brand, because this guarantees the desired but also necessary European quality

Martijn A. Nelissen, CEO – Accell Fitness: “For America and Canada, 2008 is an important year. The relationship with strategic accounts such as Club Piscine and Fitness Holdings International Inc. will be stepped up by the offering of distinguishing concepts and new products. The selection of Bremshey Sport which is so important for this market will be expanded. In addition, the entirely new selection of small fitness
products will be introduced which will allow the Bremshey Sport brand to be offered as one family brand for all fitness products.

An additional focus will take place for the Tunturi brand with a new range for light commercial fitness equipment. Investments for the top-line brand of Accell Fitness will in particular take place in the physical therapy market and the hotel branch.

There are various major projects planned for Europe during 2008 as well, where the expansion and automation of the logistical warehouse in Almere is a significant step in the further centralization of the logistics for Europe. Important product releases are planned for the fall, in addition to the recently presented new collections of the Tunturi and Bremshey Sport brands on the ISPO 2008 in Munich.
