Footbalance Awards Ragnar Relay SoCal Team Drink or Leave with Custom

The Footbalance Road Report contest rewards inspirational training tales

San Diego, CA – March 19, 2012 — Footbalance, an innovator in custom footbed technology and race partner of Ragnar Events, LLC, announces Team Drink or Leave as the winner of the Ragnar Relay SoCal Footbalance Road Report contest. For submitting the winning inspirational training story, Team Drink or Leave will be outfitted with Footbalance custom-molded footbeds for training and racing.

Drink or Leave team member Robin Twiss is part of a 12-member team in celebration of her health and weight loss at the Ragnar Relay SoCal on April 20-21. Three years ago Robin began her journey to a healthier lifestyle when a friend encouraged her to train for a half marathon. Despite her friend having to drop out due to injury, Robin, who then weighed 240 pounds, continued training and finished her first half marathon in 3 ½ hours.

“Since my first race, I’ve taken off more weight and time. My total weight loss is almost 150 pounds and I can run a half marathon in under 2 ½ hours,” says Robin of her healthy transformation. “My Ragnar teammates are amazing athletes and people. They are so encouraging of my story.”
