Fjällräven, the Swedish heritage outdoor brand known for producing high-quality outerwear, apparel and gear since 1960, earned the 2018 Backpacker Editors’ Choice Award for the Abisko Trekking Tights. The award was presented to Fjällräven by Backpacker Editor-In-Chief Dennis Lewon and Associate Gear Editor Eli Bernstein at the 2018 Outdoor Retailer + Snow Show in Denver, Colorado.

The Backpacker Editors’ Choice Award is granted annually to products that Backpacker editors judge to be superior after going through rigorous testing. The honor is based on design and performance in the backcountry. “Over the course of a week-long trip in New Zealand, our entire team ended up wearing the Abisko Trekking Tights at some point.
