Farm to Feet, makers of 100% American socks, is launching an Appalachian Trail Collection for spring 2018 at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market in Salt Lake City, UT, July 26-29. On the first night of the show, Wednesday July 26, Farm to Feet will host an AT BBQ in its booth (BR315) to launch the collection.

Along with enjoying famous Skylight Inn BBQ flown in from North Carolina, each attendee will receive a pair of the new Harpers Ferry hiking sock, while supplies last. At the event Farm to Feet will also be giving away two Deuter backpacks filled with hiking and AT themed gear from the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, Vasque, Leki, ENO, Buff, Woolrich, and Farm to Feet.

The Farm to Feet Appalachian Trail collection includes the Damascus, Max Patch, and Harpers Ferry styles. The Damascus, named for the host town of Appalachian Trail Days, has become the favorite sock of day and thru-hikers due to its light weight design, targeted cushioning comfort, and durability. For spring 2018 a low-cut Damascus is being added to the current line-up of crew and quarter crew heights.

The Max Patch and Harpers Ferry, two new styles for spring 2018, feature the same foot design as the Damascus, but with graphic details inspired by their name sakes.

Max Patch is a popular day hike destination on the Appalachian Trail due to its proximity to Asheville and its 360 degree views. The Farm to Feet Max Patch 3/4 crew sock features an infinite loop of mountain tops around the ankle, much like the view from Max Patch’s grassy summit.

Historic Harper’s Ferry, WV, sits at the confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers and is home to the Appalachian Trail Conservancy. The Harpers Ferry hiking sock was developed in conjunction with the ATC and features the AT logo in the calf area. Sales of the Harpers Ferry will go towards supporting the Appalachian Trail Conservancy and its mission to preserve and manage the Appalachian Trail, the longest hiking-only footpath in the world.
